So what is horizontal menu bar? They are menus located near to your header either on top of your header or below your header.
When customers purchase a blog design from me I often get asked how the links in the menu bars work. When we're ready to install your new design I will need you to send me the links to your menu bar. There are 4 different ways to do this.
1. Link them to Pages
Blogger gives you the ability to create up to 10 pages. To create an "About Me" or "Contact" page this is how:
Log into Blogger and click on "New Posts" then click on "Edit Pages". Create your page then click "Save and Publish". Save this to your sidebar or as blog tabs. You can now visit your blog and click on that link to copy the URL Address for me.
2. Link them to a Blog Post
If you have a Blog Post that you would like me to link in your menu bar then this is how. Click on the Post Title then copy the URL Address at the top.
3. Link them to Labels
When you create a new post you can add Labels to it. You can write anything in the Labels area that refers to your post (example: coupons, Walgreen's, Reviews, Giveaways, etc...) You can add as many labels as you like to one post but be sure to add a comma after each label.
I will use the label Coupon for an example. I can link an item in your menu bar to all posts labeled "Coupon" and this is how you would give me the link. Visit your blog and look for a post that you have labeled Coupon. Click on the label Coupon and copy the URL Address at the top of your page.
4. Link them to another website
Some of you may want to link an item in your menu bar to another website. Just copy the URL Address at the top of that website and email that link to me along with the other links for your menu bar.
